A History of Art part 16

After a long week of work, it was nice to get into the Studio today and continue work on the current block. The drawing part of the day was devoted to the casino space on the top level. I reworked the slot machine on the left, added some figures (the cocktail waitress is borrowed from my print from the Ship of Fools group folio) and resolved the ceiling area. Still needs a little work, but this is more or less what I'm going for.

I also devoted time to going through art history books looking for images to add to my dungeon. In the end I chose 10 artworks that were influential and/or personal favorites. Excerpts (mostly figures) from these will be added to that scene. I just took notes today, and will get to actual drawing next time.
