Prints By Mail

When I got home from the Studio today I found a surprise in the mailbox. It was a thank you for Wednesday's talk at the OCAG in the form of a relief print/card from artist Elsa Herrmann, the person who set it up. For someone who is primarily a painter (watercolors), she has a nice reductive sense, breaking up the complex scene into the two tones, without losing detail or the sense of deep space. All in 4"x9".
